Holy shit. That had to be the most annoying thing in the world.

First of all, I couldn't get to sleep last night. I went to bed around 3 and didn't end up sleeping until 7:30am. I just don't get sleepy. At around 9am, I get awoken by these gardeners with chainsaws doing what it seems like trimming these giant eucalyptus trees right outside my room. I try to ignore it and just get back to sleep but it gets so loud and so annoying I couldn't take it anymore. I look outside to see what was going on and there was a cherry-picker (is there an official name for those things?) and two guys hanging from the trees trimming them.

I take my blanket, comforter, and pillow and start going downstairs to get some sleep on the couch. By putting the pillow over both of my ears (like they do on the TV lol) it seemed to filter it out enough to get some winks of sleep. I got one dream out of it I think. So I wake up again at 12pm noticing no more chainsaws! I hurry back upstairs with my peripherals and proceed to sleep more. Soon, a fucking wood-chipper comes in and starts making the loudest fucking noise for the longest time. I mean, the Waste Management trucks are much louder but they only last about 6 seconds at most. But this was lasting for about an hour.

My DS went off at 2pm which I set it at (I didn't know it had rumble capabilities for the alarm..) so I turned it off and got more sleep. I ended waking up at 3:20pm with enough sleep to function (I think).

This in combination with my surreal and freaky-ass dreams made one hell of a morning.
