WARNIG: BIG POST A HEAD!
Halfway through Lucky Star. It's definitely getting better as it goes on. Maybe due to the director being changed out about 4 episodes in. Episode 12 was amazing though. I laughed so hard. I can't get enough satirical otaku life.
Speaking of otakuness, I checked Play-Asia for the upcoming Pleinair figure that's scheduled for next month to find ANOTHER coming out in January. This pisses me off because they always make these so limited, I have no time to get it later. Then again, the one I have currently came out awhile ago so I might have a chance if I miss out on it the first time. Anyway, the newest one I like more than the one coming out in December. And it's 7 inches tall. I'll end up getting both, of course, because it's Pleinair! Also, just a note, there is no feasible way to justify buying a PVC figure for $50+. Something that does nothing but sit there in your room. Somewhat like a trophy. But I don't care. I'm not an otaku who buys 100 different characters from 50 different series.
So it turns out I'm a Platinum Member on Club Nintendo this year so I was able to choose one of these amazing prizes. It took me a full 24 hours to finally decide on which one of the top two. I chose the SFC Wii Classic Controller. Many factors go into this even though I'm obsessed with the music in Super Mario Galaxy, but I decided hoping the platinum soundtrack would be on ebay at some point. Either way, I can pay 250 points for the standard OST. I just hope it arrives before Rich moves back from Japan or I'm totally screwed.
In DJ news, I have a couple of gigs coming up next week. It'll be the first time I play 2 days in a row. The first one is called Feel the Force and it's said to be in San Bernardino. I hope to just make an ass of myself at this one as it's a non-paying gig. Who knows, I might just be lazy from all the turkey and DJ normally. The second one is called Plymouth Rock Out! and I'm headlining the hardcore room which is a big deal in LA. I'm pretty nervous for this one because I'm expected to be amazing. I plan on playing a tad more popular stuff than I usually do just to please the crowd rather than the underground unheard stuff I usually play that turns off the crowd. Either way, I'm excited to play some of the Japanese hardcore I got from digi-up last week.
I guess that's about it. I'm also trying to scrounge up money to build a new computer for the first time. If I can sell these damn RP8s, I'll have just enough. Of course, asking someone here to buy them is stupid because none of you (except maybe Josh) would really put use to them. But if you do want them, let me know. I'm thinking $460 for both.
I'll probably update in spurts and one or two sentences. These kinds of posts will be less frequent as I'm rarely in the mood to write so often.

P.S. Super Mario Galaxy is amazing. I haven't had so much fun with a Mario game since Super Mario 64 more than 10 years ago. Seriously, you're a complete idiot if you own a Wii but not Galaxy.
