Alright. So this has annoyed me so much over the past few months I just need to make a ranting post about it.

People need to fucking learn when or when not to refer to their significant other as their boyfriend/girlfriend. I am so fucking sick and tired of seeing people refer to them as "my boyfriend/girlfriend" when the people they are talking to already know who they are! What is the point? Just to brag that this person is your boyfriend/girlfriend? Pretty pitiful if you ask me. And actually, for me personally, I've not seen any guys doing this; it's only girls in my experience.

Proper use of this term would be to strangers of friends who don't know of this person. Then comes a process of changing that from "my boyfriend/girlfriend" to their actual name. After that, there's no going back with it! Then why do these people insist on still referring to them as the status? It's almost as if they care more about this status than the person themselves which is very sad.

I guess deep down what bothers me is the bragging nature it comes off as. Like there's some sort of competition of spouses that you need to up your ranking in. Like, "lol my pikachu has better IVs than yours". And I guess it makes that person come off as a very elite sounding person if they feel the need to put the status of this person above their own name when the person or people they're talking to know full well of this person already.

I've been having to put up with this for the past few months now and it's not stopped yet so I just had to put it here. Knock it the fuck off. Please.

This is just complete bullshit.. I have a hard enough time trying to find this EP anywhere here in USA and when I do in a nice convenient way such as downloads, it's restricted. I can understand if they released the thing here but they don't and won't! They didn't even get to Eiffel 65's Contact! which was their best album!

Bottom line is, if you're going to restrict the purchase of something to a region, at least make it available elsewhere. I'd like to support my favorite aritsts but fucking DRM is making it impossible.

The new Animal Crossing rocks. I don't know how I was able to get back into it again after having pretty much complete Wild World for DS, but they did it. One of the most awesome things about it is how you can take snapshots and export them to an SD card. So instead of explaining in great detail about my adventures, I'll just SHOW you!

Can't wait for elections to be over. Yeah, another post, but I've been pretty good about them not being too frequent. Getting prepared for, "_____ won. We're fucked" like the world will blow up all of the sudden due to an American presidential election.

Also, I'm tired of the close-minded people hating others for their differing opinions on propositions. Yes, it is close-minded when you can't even understand why there's an opposition. How dare someone have different opinions about something?

This election has shown me the true colors of some people, sadly. :( One of the main reasons I hate it (I'm sure Matt and Joey agree as well).

Alright. I've had it with the election. It's just a sport now. If you don't support someones team, fuck you and you need to die. And I'm being serious, people are really like this.

I'm more centrist/apathetic than I used to be, but it seems completely one-sided online. I try to avoid this shit as much as I can but even things I enjoy doing are infiltrated by this crap. Kotaku makes these stupid posts just to get people in the comments to argue and hang each other. Here's generally how it goes: everyone who supports Obama is praised with agreement. Anyone who differs in opinion is labeled a worthless republican who's an evil shithead; and they don't even mention who they support, just that they don't care for Obama!

So what I've learned this year is that if you support Obama, you're cool. If you don't, you're a fucking idiot who deserves to die. That sounds ridiculous, maybe it's just me. It sucks because I'm sure some of you democrats are awesome people and have ideas that make sense, but these people overflow everything this year and it's hard to see nothing like that from this group. I'm not saying there are republicans who don't do the same thing, I'm just saying from a centered/apathetic view, this year, it seems completely terrifying how a lot of people are acting. The complete ignorance and closed-minds I'm seeing from (specifically) the left recently has really bothered me.

I don't care for either candidate. I'm not voting this year. I don't believe in voting for "the lesser of two evils"; I think that's that WORST reason to vote. I only think someone should vote for someone they actually like and would want to win. I don't like either so I'm not voting. I'm starting to feel I'm more of a 3rd party person than anything. Which sucks because only the person who gets more corporation endorsement wins. So it's all about money, not about things that really matter. But that's been understood for awhile.

People are allowed to complain about a candidate so I feel allowed to complain about the process and the drones involved. People need to understand it's not only okay to not vote, but you SHOULDN'T vote unless you've done your research and actually want that person to win rather than the all-too-common "lesser of two evils" which has been thrown around the past decade.

Furthermore, I ask that you all don't talk to me about politics through AIM, MSN, or in person. ESPECIALLY during my birthday party this Friday.

Yeah, it's been awhile since I've made an entry, but I think tonight merits one.

The second half of my 1GB stock DDR2 RAM died tonight. Out of nowhere. I was simply just building my KeyPass database when BAM! Blue screen. It freaked me the hell out because I swear I heard a hard drive winding down so I was fearing the worst.

After waking up my friend Brian in Massachusetts at 5am (sorry about that, btw), we narrowed it down to a memory failure. I took the sticks out, tried only the one in DIMM#1; works. Not to rejoice, though, I had to test the other to see if it worked. If it did, that meant I had a dead DIMM slot on my hands which means a new computer which I can't even begin to afford right now. So I took out the working stick, put in the other, and it gave me the same blue screen.

So I was in the clear. Horray! But not really. Now I have to spend even more of my non-existent money for two new sticks to put in here and I have no idea where to start. Yes, I know it uses DDR2, but I doubt I can just pick up and 'ole pair of DDR2 RAM and stick them in.. or can I? Here's a link to the specs of my system for any of those who care to help.

But yeah. That was lovely. Thankfully I moved to Digsby recently so no logs were compromised in this untimely death. Right now, I'm only running on half my stock memory which is 512MB so you'll barely see me online until I can find suitable replacements. I found some cheap pairs online at Micro Center, so I might drive down there today with my dead stick in hand and get some help there.

In other news, July was an amazing month. I'll try to post about it in the near future. This problem should kick-start me to update this thing again.

I guess it's Easter Sunday today. For some reason I always thought it was in April. Either way, I was surprised to see a bag for me with stuff in it.




I've been wanting some Cadbury Creme Eggs for awhile ever since I finished the ones I got from UK last summer. It's gonna be awesome coming home to these after dinner. I also have to remember to get a lot more when I'm out being as today is Easter and I wasn't prepared. They only sell them once a year in America. :(

It's been unusually hot here the past two days. I have my fan on, but all it does is blow the hot air around the room making it just a tad cooler. Even when night comes, the temperature barely falls.

But life this past week has been a combination of frustration and confusion. I'm sure everyone knows the feeling of wanting to come up with the perfect thing to say but either loses it or just cannot come up with it at that moment. I won't get into it here because that's not why I'm making an entry. :)

Brawl has been fun but the fun is diminishing due to my lack of friends who'd like to play or are always busy. Playing online isn't the same either. It seems that every time I try to plan something, circumstances out of my control ruin it. If only something would work out, I could get out of this hikikomori state. I need a Misaki!

Holy crap. I forgot how amazing A New Feeling was (no, not the vocal one).. It almost makes me cry with the amount of emotion put into it. I miss Gammer so much now; it's really a shame what happened.. He didn't die or anything, but just what happened to the heart he put in his music. A New Feeling was what did it for him. :(

Just got done with a lot of Brawl work. Finished up Classic (although I still have to beat it on Intense) and Target Smash 3, 4, and 5. Just a lot of time consuming things. But with those out of the way, I can focus on improving my skill by doing the crazy challenges like the Cruel Brawl and Boss Battle Intense ones.

In other news, my hair has gotten insanely long. It is indeed the longest it has ever been in my life. It's my new profile picture on Facebook if you wanna check it out. There's rarely any pictures of me because no one I know owns a camera so I have to take them of myself and it's hard to do that without it looking just a tad emo or self absorbent. Oh well.

I'll end this post with a song that's been stuck in my head for the past week. It's completely amazing.

P.S. I'm going to start cursing less in future entries, even when I'm angry. I guess I just got tired of reading my entries with all that in there. Plus, it helps me learn more words to use instead of resorting to them!

Let me tell you what it's all about. It's called money dependence today and people just keep on going on looking at the dollar bill and nothing else around them. No love, no friendship, nothing else. Just the dollar bill coming on into their pocket, into their bank account, and that's too much of heaven bringing them underground.

I feel extremely honored to play as I have no involvement in the Japanese hardcore scene apart from playing j-core and getting a song on DDR through Japan. On the other hand, I can't wait to meet everyone! I've only seen Silver at E3 in '06 and I hung out with Josh for a awhile last year. But everyone else I've just heard myths about. Regardless of the turnout or my nerves, I know it'll be a time to remember. Now all I need to do is order my flight but I need information from other DJs (Josh) to decide when the best time to go and leave would be.

This also brings me to my next bit of good news (depending on how you look at it). I'll be working on getting a new mix together to give out at this party. I initially wanted to make a mix a week ago because I hadn't done one in awhile and was in the mood to do so, but this booking gives me more of a reason to work on one. I asked James Rize about CD duplication because I know he does that and does it well, but his equipment is busted at the moment. He did let me know of another place I could use. But if worst comes to worse, I'll just make them myself with some shitty Sharpie text.

Was gonna post some awesome Danbooru finds here being that I was in the mood, but I think I'll save that for another day (and keep it ). I'll also keep them in a cut so those of you who hate anime or are offended can have the option.

Ok, we give up. The rumors were true.

Persona 3 FES is coming to North America!

Months of trying to keep FES a secret are now behind us (which means all of us here can reflect on just how futile an effort that was).

So what's the big deal about Persona 3 FES? "FES" is short for "Festival," and in Japan, FES was released as a reward for gamers who picked up the original. Not only does the new FES content enhance the original game, but the new FES component is actually a game in and of itself, accessible right from the get-go. We think of it as two games on one disc. It is the definitive Persona 3 experience.

We will be releasing the stand-alone version of FES. There was of course the option of just releasing the "Append" disc (which would have required ownership of the original game), but in the end, we didn't want you to have to own anything else to enjoy the experience.

We'll have a ton more updates going out for FES soon, telling you about the extra features, content, and modes for you to enjoy. Thanks for being patient. We're glad you stuck around.

Oh, and we decided to set the suggested retail for FES at $29.99, just for the heck of it. Thanks for continuing to support us, Atlus Faithful!

Holy fucking shit. No More Heroes was such an amazing game. I have no idea why I loved it so much, but the twists and the ending were amazing. I got goosebumps. I felt like I just got done watching a great movie. Maybe it's just me, but it's gonna be hard to beat this game. Yes, even SSBB and DMC4 won't give me the same feeling; I know it.

Suda Goichi, you are my hero. I've never loved another game developer as much as I do him right now. I cannot wait for the epicness that will be Project S.

Holy shit. No More Heroes is the best game I've played since Killer7 and Contact. I am absolutely in love with Suda Goichi and will buy every game he works on.

P.S. Argh, wtf! It seems like every game that's awesome has Kris Zimmerman as its voice director. If you didn't know already, back when I was 12 or so, I got into voice-over and took lessons. I took lessons from Kris Zimmerman who was a casting director as well as a voice director at the time so it was fun. She even had a son who loved Game Boy (yeah.. that long ago). Well, anyway, just a few months ago, I find out she was the voice director of all the MGS games as well as some other big games. This blew my mind, until I remembered near the last time I saw her, she mentioned to me some PlayStation game she was working on. Of course, I had no idea what it was because I didn't own a PlayStation at that point.

ANYWAY, I just now find out she was the voice director of both Killer7 and No More Heroes. Now, more than ever, I regret not getting staying in contact with her. I know it sounds selfish, but she works on so many awesome games!

P.S.S. I called every day this week for jury duty and today they let me know my service this year has been completed. I'm lucky and happy! :D

So, today I woke up at 5:30, went downstairs to get my jury notice, and called to see if I were to report. Turns out I have to call on Tuesday now because of MLK Day (wasn't his birthday on the 15th? What the fuck?) to see if I report the following day which is kind of a nuisance because I have episode 2 of my show then. Although being that January has 5 Wednesdays, it might work out for the better. Either way, it's somewhat annoying being on hold for a few days with no certain confirmation. Then again, back in 2004, I was to report the next day as soon as I called so I guess I should be grateful. Maybe I'll slip by this week and be free from it!

Other than that, I combined two cans of SpaghettiO's (one franks, one meatballs) and ate the whole thing. I've been eating less lately, for some reason. I guess I'm just never in the mood to prepare something. There's also no good Chinese places around here. Maybe I should try some I've never been to and find one I like. Chin Chin Cafe was amazing until last year, then they just went downhill. The quality of food is nothing like it used to be. It really makes me sad because they were great.

I then played some Blast Factor on PS3 for a bit. I finally bought it due to the new cheap bundle that includes the full game, multiplayer, and "Advanced Research" for only $12.99. It feels a lot like Geometry Wars Galaxies with the borders and such. It gets pretty tough; I've only managed to get halfway through "Basic Research". I still need to finish Ratchet & Crank: Tools of Destruction though I've just been bogged down with Danbooru and need to catch up which feels impossible now but I need to stop being lazy and just do it.

So a lot of good games are coming out. I have been conserving my money mainly for the surge of awesome figurines coming out the next couple months, but I'm making sure I get these games.

• Firstly, we have No More Heroes. Suda Goichi. I don't need to say any more than that.


• Second, there's Super Smash Bros. Brawl. I'm not excited for this in the same way others are. I'm really looking forward to what looks like a great single-player experience.


• Third, is Devil May Cry 4. I haven't played any of the other ones but it'll be good to finally have a nice game for PS3.

After that, I need to earn money for AX08 coming up here in July. I think more than anything this year, I'm looking forward to that, unless I am indeed going back to UK again. I'm going to try and get my money's worth this year and not just leave early or hang out at the arcade most of the time. But I'm really looking forward to it being at the LACC (where E3 used to always be). I haven't been there since E306.

This entry turned out to be bigger than I first thought it would (no surprise there). I have a lot to say about the ridiculous writer's strike but I'll save that for when/if it ends (hopefully it won't).
